Happy Homes:
Max is a Cream
Point Himalayan Doll Face Persian who lives with Jessica, her parents and Arthur, an 11
year old Flame Point Himalayan Persian Cat. The following photos are over
Max's first year with his wonderful family. |
Meet Arthur, an 11 year old Flame Point Himalayan, who is Jessica's
best buddy.
This is Arthur's house and Arthur is the "resident cat" so the
new kitten must be respectful of Arthur for them to get along.
June 2005
Scott, Jessica's Dad, flew up to Rochester, NY to adopt Max from the
Spring 2005 Litter.

| My 5-year old named the kitty "MAX", short for Major
Max, in lieu of General Custer. He seems to like it. I've
never seen a cat take to a home so easily. You'd think he
lived here his whole life. Jessica loves him so much and
keeps him occupied playing often. He took to the litter pan
with no problems. He traveled for 12 hours and never had an
accident or whined. Arthur, my 11-year old cat likes him
alot. He purrs even with the kitten around. They touch
noses every time they pass each other in a room or hall.
They sleep within feet of each other and neither has hissed
at the other. Couldn't ask for a better outcome. Thank you
so very much. |

| Arthur inspects Max. |
Max is a little afraid of Arthur. |
Arthur is reassured when Jessica pets him
and baby Max relaxes in Jessica's arms. |
Arthur finally takes a look at baby Max
while Jessica still pets him. |
| Respectfully, Max takes a back seat so Arthur is up front and in
charge. Max gladly follows Sir Arthur's lead. The natural
feline order of this small kingdom is quickly in harmony! |

Easter 2006
| Max is 14 months old in these photos. Max is a
young adult Cream Point Himalayan Persian Male with the Doll
Face having the longer more traditional nose. Notice
how long his fur has grown, especially at his tail.
Also note Max's Cream Point colors and how they appear
different in depending on the lighting. For example,
in bright daylight, Max looks very light. In photos
below taken indoors, the rich cream coat is revealed against
other colors below. |

| Max follows us everywhere. Loves to
sleep in vanity sinks, they are the perfect mold for kitty
comfort. He is still a kitten that loves to play. Every
time Jess gets a present... the box goes to Max and he gets
very excited. Cut a couple holes out and its a playhouse
like no other. Can't read the paper without him thinking
it's time to play; can't read since he'll lay right across
it and groom himself. He is always at the door (3-story
house) when we come home and follows us out when we leave.
If we are outside he is in the nearest window looking out.
...Every morning when I make Jess breakfast the two of them
site (each in their own stool) at the bar counter. He's
waiting for me to serve him a tuna omelet I guess. |

Notice Max's Cream Himalayan Points coming in and how he pays
attention to Jessica.
Cream Point Himalayans tend to have slightly more color on their
body coat than a Flame Point.
Both have a white tummy, as do most Himalayan Persian Cats.
Summer 2006
| Jess & Max are inseparable.!! |

| This was when Jessica lost her first tooth. Max
stood by her the entire time she was trying to yank it out!!
I cannot tell you how much love and joy max has brought to
our house! |
