Companion
pets look directly into your eyes. The above Flame Point Cat kittens are looking into the
camera to face the person talking to them - no tricks, no food.

Selecting a Therapy Cat
or Kitten
The
MOST important thing for you to consider is how the mother and
kittens were socialized. Watch both parents of the kittens and other
adults that the breeder may have. If they are friendly, then you are
in good shape! Congratulations on selecting a wonderful pet. Let me
know if you want help. I am linked to breeders across the country.

I do this because I love it and like sharing the breed. Breeders
have a lot of obligations to show and manage their cattery, so my kittens
have a huge advantage raising only 2 to 3 litters per year. I
only have Winifred, Braveheart and Bo Peep. Be sure to find a
breeder who is decent. It will pay off in the end. Your kitten
will be better socialized and you
will feel comfortable calling about any detail without feeling
judged. Whichever kitten you adopt will be a 20-year
investment, so it is wise to take your time with your decision.
Himalayan
vs. Persian
Himalayans
are part of the Persian Breed.
In
general, the solid Persians are more outgoing whereas Himalayans are the
ones to sleep in your bed with you. They tend to grow more
attached. The "Red" Persians and Himalayans are the
"clowns”. |
